The Process

Step 01:

Free Connection Call (15 Minutes)

We’ll start with a brief, no-pressure phone or video chat. You can share a little bit about what’s going on, and I’ll explain how I can help. This is purely to see if we "click" and if you feel comfortable talking with me.

Step 02:

The First Session (Mapping it Out)

If we decide to work together, our first full session will focus on "unloading the backpack." We’ll look at the converging life events, past experiences, or self-doubt weighing you down. We won’t rush into the deep stuff; we go at a pace that feels safe for you.

Step 03:

Tools and Steady Progress

In our ongoing sessions, we move from "understanding" to "doing." You’ll leave with practical strategies to manage anxiety or overwhelm in the moment and long-term insights to shift how you see yourself.

Review

“Before therapy with Dr Chandril, I constantly felt on edge — overthinking everything, struggling to switch off, and feeling like I was barely holding things together. I had tried to ‘just cope’ for years, but underneath the anxiety was a deeper sense of never feeling good enough.

Therapy helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, not just how to manage symptoms. I now feel calmer, more emotionally grounded, and far less controlled by panic and self-doubt. For the first time in a long time, I feel more like myself again.”

ESSENTIALS

What do I do?

Usually, people who see me tell me that they have had some sort of therapy from the NHS before that focused on symptom-reduction, and that helped them in the short term, but the distress came back again. So, my goal isn’t just symptom management. It’s helping you develop a deeper, more lasting sense of safety, self-trust, and emotional security.

Where I work?

In-Person Location: Nottingham City Centre (In-Person)

Virtual (UK-wide): Over Zoom

When I work?

Status: Currently accepting a limited number of new patients.

Session duration: 50 mins

Frequency: We’ll meet weekly or fortnightly to maintain your momentum. In rare cases, it can be twice a week.

How I work?

My approach combines evidence-based psychological therapies, including CBT, ACT and CFT, with a deeper relational understanding of your experience. For many people I work with, it traces back to their childhood. For some, it's adult life circumstances. I use practical tools to help you manage anxiety and overwhelm in the moment, while also helping you understand the underlying patterns that keep you stuck.
